Not So Fast: Trump’s Foreign Policy Plan Was Made To Appeal To The Angry Voters [Revised]

The pundits, the MSM, the left, the progressives, the democrats…they all have the same myopic problem: they all keep underestimating Donald’s ability to hook with the people.

The man knows how to appeal to blue-collar America, you have got to sear that statement in your conceited minds. You think you know better than him…you may be on your way to a rude awakening. At the end of the post I give a ‘IMHO’ view of the nature of the true ideological war going on in the GOP.

These are some of the GOP’s untouchables handled by the Donald with dirty paws in his speech  just to annoy the ‘big donor class’: in-your-face indictment of globalism, a jab at Reagan, Bush2 and the lie of the Iraq invasion, the armaments industry.

There is no progressive and leftis who would not agree in part with what he says in the speech. Why? The answer is at the end of the post.

First question that came to my mind at the end of his speech was For how long can he keep that ‘presidential’ demeanor? He was calm and not bombastic. He looked…gulp…presidential. Those flags behind him helped a lot. It’s all packaged, and THAT’S the point. The man is packaging himself to you with this speech. Pay attention, people.

Second, the speech delivers emotional messages stealthily…but they get to their destination because most of them are devoid of facts, they are general statements from where you can’t determine who he is speaking about when making reference to history, or what his plans are.

From the get go, first paragraph of his speech, he said the words that the people are longing to hear:

one that replaces randomness with purpose, ideology with strategy, and chaos with peace.

Don’t tell me you haven’t seen these wars like that. The word “peace” hasn’t been in our public vocabulary since 2003. It has practically disappear from our MSM news. Don’t you long for “peace”?

He also said the words which I have been saying (in this blog) are the cause of the GOP war against him: that he talks openly against globalism. They don’t hate him because he is ‘racist’, chauvinistic and xenophobic; they are all that themselves. It’s THIS that irks them to no avail, because it stirs the anger in the people:

We will no longer surrender this country or its people to the false song of globalism.

The “false” song of globalism. That’s an indictment of globalism right there in your face. I wish the left were more mindful of the real politics going on behind the curtains.

More words packed with emotions:

TRUMP: It’s time to shake the rust off America’s foreign policy. It’s time to invite new voices and new visions [wow!] into the fold, something we have to do. The direction I will outline today will also return us to a timeless principle. My foreign policy will always put the interests of the American people and American security above all else. It has to be first. Has to be.

That is a piece of artfully crafted introduction. You have to give credit to his speech writer. That is masterful. There’s more scary stuff. Scary because it is so masterfully crafted that the regular Joe and Jane will swallow it like orange juice.

Democrats and Republicans working together got Mr. Gorbachev to heed the words of President Reagan, our great president, when he said, tear down this wall.

Trump is talking the language of unity: it was not Reagan alone, it was democrats and republicans who backed president Reagan in his ‘plea’ to ‘tear down this wall’. Also, it takes the credit given to Reagan and distributes it. Reagan, another elite god smeared by the Donald. He is telling us that’s what will happen in his presidency, he will unite Congress behind him. People are suckers for ‘unity’.

It all began with a dangerous idea that we could make western democracies out of countries that had no experience or interests in becoming a western democracy.

How many times have the American left said that? Many, many times.  Is he a leftist now? Silly. He wants YOU to buy it and give him your vote.

Do you totally disagree with this? Or do you agree a little bit with it?

We tore up what institutions they had and then were surprised at what we unleashed. Civil war, religious fanaticism, thousands of Americans and just killed be lives, lives, lives wasted. Horribly wasted. Many trillions of dollars were lost as a result. The vacuum was created that ISIS would fill. Iran, too, would rush in and fill that void much to their really unjust enrichment.

This is a touch-down:

Ending the theft of American jobs will give us resources we need to rebuild our military, which has to happen and regain our financial independence and strength.

More emotions:

A Trump administration will lead a free world that is properly armed and funded, and funded beautifully.

All of this without even mentioning the humiliation of the United States with Iran’s treatment of our ten captured sailors —

The list of humiliations go on and on and on.

We’re a humanitarian nation, but the legacy of the Obama-Clinton interventions will be weakness, confusion and disarray, a mess.

A man of courage, conviction, determination and peace-loving:

I believe an easing of tensions, and improved relations with Russia from a position of strength only is possible, absolutely possible.

I will never sent our finest into battle unless necessary, and I mean absolutely necessary, and will only do so if we have a plan for victory with a capital V.

For peace and the power of weaponry – this one was excellent too:

We want the world to be — we want to bring peace to the world. Too much destruction out there, too many destructive weapons. The power of weaponry is the single biggest problem that we have today in the world.

To achieve these goals, Americans must have confidence in their country and its leadership.

He ends with this:

I will view as president the world through the clear lens of American interests. I will be America’s greatest defender and most loyal champion. We will not apologize for becoming successful again, but will instead embrace the unique heritage that makes us who we are.

Ignore and ridicule his foreign policy speech at your own risk. Hillary, you better start using the word ‘peace’ more often.

The man knows his craft. He knows what is hurting the people down here. He is probably a libertarian a la Paul Rand. There is a division in the elite and its political minions in Congress between the globalists and the ‘paleoconservatives‘.

The language of the paleoconservatives is similar in many ways to the leftists. That causes confusion in people less familiar with the ideological concepts of the left and the right. For example, a paleoconservative is against globalism because it strips the smaller business class of privileges: the diminutive but powerful globalist elite controls just about everything in society. The paleoconservatives are conservatives, they want their privileges to be recognized. They are against the working class and women…they are ‘nationalists’. But because their language is anti-big globalists, they sound progressive.

The left is not seeing this intra-war going on in the GOP for what it is. They think the GOP ‘big donors’ hate Trump because he alienates voters with his ‘xenophobia’ and misogyny. That’s what the donors are telling everybody. The truth is: there is  an ideological war going on there. The MSM is on the GOP side, that explains all the attacks on Trump. It’s not “free time”.

Donald the Masterful: he has taken all the free MSM air time aimed at attacking him to his advantage.

The only thing that can kill that monster is smug. The ‘berniebots’ are buying his product because they are not familiar, despite their claim to be ‘revolutionaries’ with the history     of that revolution, not familiar with the different types of right wing and left wing.

Ignorance is what have us all under the heels of the oligarchs.
